I’m a Filipino-American born and raised in Orange County, California and is now residing in New York City. I was inspired to create this blog to share my experiences with finding contentment in the simple things while exploring everything the world has to offer.

As I learn to embrace my humble beginnings, I hope to share my adventures with you as I find ways to balance the lust of life. This is my journey of investing in experiences over things, choosing substance over glamour, and valuing honesty over perfection.

Gage & Tollner was founded in 1879 and sadly closed in 2004. However, they were able to find investors and beautifully restored this historical chophouse. It’s truly a hidden gem in Downtown Brooklyn – and proud to highlight the chef
